Information You Choose to Submit
Entries in Search Tools
When you type a name, location, or other query into a search box, that entry goes to the outside provider operating the tool. Lyon County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to the Site
If you send an email or contact-form message, we retain it as needed to prepare and deliver a response. We do not share that message outside our organization unless the law requires disclosure.

Privacy After Following an Outside Link
Links may lead to Lyon release-record sources, Sheriff or corrections pages, other government portals, and outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination’s privacy policy governs its collection and use of information.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to recognize activity across multiple websites and select targeted advertising. That cross-site processing occurs on their systems, not ours.
